Danielle graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Honours Kinesiology. After working for three years as a Certified Kinesiologist, Danielle decided to complete further post-secondary education at Queen’s University. Danielle graduated from the School of Rehabilitation Therapy at Queen’s University in 2012 with a professional Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy.
Danielle has continued to expand her knowledge and skill set in a variety of areas, including orthopaedics, acupuncture, vestibular therapy, and concussion management. In 2014, Danielle completed post-graduate training by Dr. Mariano Rocabado, a world renowned leader in the treatment of TMJ disorders. Danielle also regularly attends conferences and courses in concussion management, which is essential to provide quality care in this growing and constantly changing area of rehabilitation. In March 2017, Danielle successfully completed all components of the intensive 6 day vestibular rehabilitation competency course at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. This extensive program is considered the gold standard of vestibular training and is administered by many vestibular rehabilitation specialists including Susan Herdman and Richard Clendaniel. When not in clinic, Danielle enjoys cooking and maintaining an active lifestyle by hiking, skiing, and running.
