Our team of Physiotherapists have many years of collective experience treating orthopaedic injuries of the whole body, but the main focus of treatment at VOR is on issues of the head, neck and jaw.

Patients with vestibular, TMJ dysfunction, whiplash, and post-concussion syndrome, often have restricted range of motion, pain and muscle tension in the neck. Many symptoms of the neck and jaw can affect the head.

Physiotherapy is a science-based healthcare profession that views human movement as an important part of well-being. At VOR, we aim to maintain and restore function after disease or injury and  help people achieve better quality of life through movement.

Orthopaedic treatment techniques used by Physiotherapists may include:

  • Manual therapy
  • Therapeutic exercise
  • Education
  • Soft tissue techniques
  • Acupuncture and/or MPS
  • Modalities such as ultrasound

We work in collaboration with our Athletic Therapists, Occupation Therapist, and Massage Therapists  in the management of our patients to provide client centered care.
